Our Story
CCF is an acronym for COPIERS, COMPUTERS, and FACSIMILE. In the Spring of 1992, when CCF was being created, our founders envisioned our industry having a single device. Here we are today in 2026 with such a device. Over the past 30 years, the dealer you have chosen to do business with, has successfully acquired the portions of or the entirety of five of our direct competitors.
As we approach our 34rd successful year, CCF has entered into a strategic merger and transition agreement with EGP Document Solutions, initiating a two-year process that will culminate in EGP’s full acquisition of CCF. This partnership marks a significant milestone for both organizations and strengthens their shared commitment to customer service, innovation, and long-term growth.
Under the leadership of David Rockey, President and CEO of CCF, and Paul Thompson, President and CEO of EGP Document Solutions, the transition will expand service capabilities and enhance the overall customer experience. During the initial phase, EGP’s support team will begin assisting CCF clients, while technical teams from both organizations collaborate and share responsibilities to ensure a seamless integration of services.
A key benefit of the merger is CCF’s access to three additional product lines—Ricoh’s full product portfolio, Canon Specialty Wide Format, and HP Solutions—significantly expanding the range of offerings available to its customers.
Despite the organizational changes, CCF’s leadership emphasized that the company’s core values and customer relationships will remain constant.

This merger positions both companies to deliver greater innovation, broader capabilities, and continued excellence in customer service. CCF and EGP Document Solutions look forward to a strong and successful future together.
Meet Our President and His Family
David – President
David graduated from Kennesaw State University in 1991 with a degree in Business Administration, marking the beginning of a successful career in the office equipment industry. He entered this dynamic field in December of that same year and co-founded CCF Inc. (dba CCF of Atlanta Inc.) in April 1992. Under his leadership, the company has flourished, driven by a commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.
Family Life
In 1993, David married Melanie, a graduate of The University of Georgia, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Education in 1990. Melanie has made significant contributions to the community as an educator at Awtrey Middle School in Cobb County, where she was honored as the Teacher of the Year for 1996-97. Her dedication to teaching and her passion for helping students thrive is a testament to her character and commitment to education.
We are overjoyed to be expecting our first grandchild, Peyton Rae O’Bryant. Our hearts are full as we look forward to welcoming this beautiful new chapter into our family.
Our Children
David and Melanie are proud parents of two accomplished children:
Carson Elizabeth
Carson graduated with a remarkable 3.99 GPA from The University of Alabama, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education. During her time at the university, she served as the President of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, showcasing her leadership skills and commitment to community service. Carson furthered her education by obtaining a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction and a Specialist Degree (EdS). Currently, she is an educator and has been recognized as the 2023-24 Teacher of the Year.
Ryan Patrick
Ryan graduated from Western Carolina University’s Honors College in 2024 with a perfect 4.0 GPA. While in college, he demonstrated leadership as the President of the NSSLA and dedicated 30 hours a week as a student support for the UP Program, which offers an inclusive living and learning experience for college-aged individuals with intellectual disabilities. Ryan currently holds a Graduate Assistant position at the university. He will graduate in May 2026 with his Master’s in Speech Language Pathology, reflecting his passion for helping others and making a difference in the lives of those he serves.

In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Melanie joined CCF, bringing her educational expertise to the team. Together, David and Melanie are actively involved in the day-to-day operations, mentoring and preparing the next generation of team members for continued success.
